Anastrozole (Arimidex) is an aromatase inhibitor (AI) used to reduce estrogen levels in the body. It is highly effective at blocking the aromatase enzyme, which is responsible for converting testosterone into estrogen. By inhibiting this process, Anastrozole can lower estrogen levels by up to 80%, helping to prevent estrogen-related side effects such as gynecomastia and water retention.

In addition to its estrogen-reducing effects, Anastrozole increases free testosterone levels by promoting a rise in luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). This makes it a valuable tool for those using anabolic steroids, as performance-enhancing doses of steroids can significantly increase the rate of estrogen conversion.

SIDE EFFECTS
While Anastrozole is well-tolerated, prolonged or excessive use can lead to low estrogen levels, which may cause:
